Property Preservation Ecosystem.

I was offered an opportunity as the first employee for OrangeGrid, as UX/UI Designer to bring a vision to life. OrangeGrid’s focus is in financial services industry with the introduction of a revolutionary no-code workflow application for business process improvement.

The first year I focused on designing the product user experience and user interface as well as developing a brand/tone parallel to the product. After hiring developers to execute the back end of the product, I shifted my focus to sales and marketing. I supported sales, leadership, development, marketing, and BA’s for client support.

01. Task At Hand

Closing the gap on property preservation targeted at the industry-leading organizations. Supplying an all-in-one ecosystem that may reduce cost and create efficiency. Manage fragmented applications, compliance, rules, and properties in one location as well as via the cloud.

02. Goals

  • Understand the current use cases for a solution.
  • Determine preferred layout and organization of content.
  • Identify current pain points along the process.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the users experience.

03. Ideation

We got the opportunity to attend a conference as well as set up a booth to attract property preservation companies. This allowed us to speak directly to the end-users and understand what their needs/pain points are. We then spent a full day with the findings, whiteboarding and organizing the data to define the next steps.
